Licky Maaskee
Polikason had successfully completed an important assignment and was given a vacation to recuperate. He set out to visit his cousin Keemaway who lived in the countryside, away from the humdrum of urban life.
The journey was fair until it ran out of developed conveniences, then he had to walk. He had to resort to his own source of energy against the meandering undulating paths and this really tired him out. Then upon sighting the country house he became excited, wanting to speed up towards the comfort that awaits him. Alas, he skidded and stumbled, and uncontrollably trying to retain his balance he jolted sideways and somersaulted down the slope. Cartwheeling a few turns he crashed against a large boulder. Fortunate that he was, that stopped his slide further down the slope; unfortunate that he was, he was stunned unconscious. In that state he rested.
Polikason, dream-like or awake, he was licking some honey laced lollipop; then to his shock some paste-like pancake splattered against his face. He gained his senses in confusion, scraped away whatever covered his face, and managed to see an animal like creature sprinting away. Still dazed but regaining his whereabouts he managed to resume his journey.
"Oh my, what is on your face", exclaimed cousin Keemaway, "you city slickers sure have your ways with make-up".
"This is no make-up, I fell along the way and some strange animal nearly scared the life out of me. You do have strange creatures out here !" Polikason mumbled.
"Oh, ho ho ho, now I see; that is no strange animal, that would be our special Licky Maaskee."
"What's so special about a creature that kicked mud onto my face." Polikason retorted.
Keemaway controlled his amusement and welcomed Polikason into the house and got him cleaned up and refreshed. Thereafter he explained, "This Licky Maaskee is a hybrid of a pig and a donkey, its rear is smooth and fair like the pig while its front resembles the donkey with a set laughing face although it can not laugh. It is an outcast, but to endear itself for company it is able to exude a certain fragrance that attracts people particularly. When a man or woman is thus captivated, he or she swooned under the spell; and spellbound as heroshe is, heroshe reacts by licking the source of the issue, its posterior vent. And being the donkey that its other half is, and when thus stimulated, its laughing face let loose its nature, it laughs and ejects what it manages to hold till then.
And that, dear cousin Polikason, is what you got on your face; and I had thought that that was your newfangled sunblock."
