Karaoke
Good Sunday morning,
Have fun with our own home made Karaoke
Making a karaoke show follows the same path as that of making a musical slide show, with one significant burden. The changing of colours of the lyrics has to be timed to synchronise with the song. This enables a viewer to sing along as the words change in colour with the music. This is the enjoyment and fun of Karaoke.
Powerpoint provides this facility, and karaoke clips can be made with it. How good a show is depends on how exact the synchronisation is done. The synchronisation requires reiterative adjustments until it reaches a reasonably satisfactory outcome.
Following the appreciation of my first attempt, Oh ! Suzanna,
I now forward The Happy Wanderer for your enjoyment.
I hope it performs on your computer as well as it does on mine.
Appended below is a copy of the lyrics of The Happy Wanderer.
Have a nice day
Ronald

The Happy Wanderer
I love to go a-wandering,
Along the mountain track,
And as I go, I love to sing,
My knapsack on my back.
Chorus:
Val-deree, Val-derah, Val-derah,
Val-derah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
Val-deree, Val-derah.
My knapsack on my back.
I love to wander by the stream
That dances in the sun,
So joyously it calls to me,
"Come! Join my happy song !"
I wave my hat to all I meet,
And they wave back to me,
And blackbirds call so loud and sweet
From ev'ry green wood tree.
High overhead, the skylarks wing,
They never rest at home
But just like me, they love to sing,
As o'er the world we roam.
Oh, may I go a-wandering
Until the day I die!
Oh, may I always laugh and sing,
Beneath God's clear blue sky !
