The Gospels of the New Testament, four separate versions, were written by four persons, two of whom were not apostles, who were they ?

Jesus himself selected 12 special disciples to carry on his ministry after him. They were called the 12 apostles, namely Andrew, Bartholomew, James the Less , James and John, sons of Zebedee, Judas Iscariot, Judas Thaddeus, Matthew, Philip, Simon Peter, Simon the Zealot, and Thomas. Judas Iscariot fell out, so who replaced him as the twelfth ?
