Awake awake awake - 02

Cooked food stalls

These were graded A B C or D, for cleanliness and hygiene. Those stalls graded C and D have been upgraded with alacrity to B after the disastrous Indian rojak food poisoning episode when questions were raised as to why grade C and D stalls were allowed to operate.

Cleanliness comes under the National Environment Authority and health comes under the Ministry of Health; and thus the problem comes under the jurisdiction of two ministries; two authorities governing one entity.

In kitchens at home the home minister looks after the health of the household regarding wholesome food and its cleanliness, and it works just fine, just one home minister !

A salute to mothers !
